The sad reality is there is still discrimination in the cosplay scene. Weight, age, gender, race, even sexuality can be a point of shame. Somehow a hobby has gone from fun to formidable. What should be fans sharing a mutual love of something they love has turned into a competition of hurtful nature. This panel is designed to have a open discussion of how this has impacted some, how we can prevent it when we see it, and to raise awareness that no one is excluded from discrimination.
